Meet the Board

The Board of Directors has been compromised of numerous people with varying levels of experience. All persons on the Board are here to help improve the club to reach its maximum capacity.

Currently, we have several positions available. Please email nationalsebastopol@gmail.com to express any interest in volunteering some time. No experience is necessary, but would be extremely helpful.

As an officer, we expect dedication to your role (this really isn’t much time). Computer work is required, with a majority of it being through Microsoft Office, Publisher, and Google Drive.

Laura Huey-Vice President/Co-Founder

Contact Me

Laura began by helping her mother Gail with the Sebastopols after Gail’s health started to decline. Laura being a 4-H kid, farm kid, & showing a variety of animals, decided in 2016 to take some of the birds to the local show. At that show she started to learn how the poultry show world worked. With that information Laura approached a few people about starting a Sebastopol Goose Club, that’s when the National Sebastopols Goose Association came to life. Since that time Laura has traveled many of miles showing her Sebastopols, building relationships with other exhibitors, breeders, and enthusiast.

Brittany fell in love with Sebastopol geese the moment she saw them at a poultry show. While new to geese, Brittany has several years of experience keeping Welsh Harlequin ducks and an assortment of chickens. What she lacks in poultry experience, she makes up with a deep knowledge of marketing and communications (both print and digital).
